Ameris Bank Names Josh Kimbrell Branch Manager for Greenville Location.

Greenville, SC - Ameris Bank is pleased to announce that Josh Kimbrell has been named Branch Manager for the company's location at 1614 Woodruff Road in Greenville. His responsibilities will include building and maintaining banking relationships in the Upstate and managing the daily operations for the branch. Kimbrell will work closely with Regional President Richard Sturm and Greenville Market President Mze Wilkins.
In making the announcement, Wilkins stated, "Josh is deeply rooted in the Greenville community. I know he will do a great job growing our market share in the Upstate."
Kimbrell holds an economics degree from North Greenville University and is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Gardner Webb University's Godbold School of Business. He comes to Ameris Bank from The South Financial Group in Columbia where his experience includes credit analysis, credit advising, loan structuring and underwriting.
Deeply involved in the community, Josh is the founder of Round Table of South Carolina, a public-policy foundation focused on free-market economic and social policy solutions. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of that organization. He is also chairman of the SC Baptist Convention Resolutions Committee on Public Policy and a board member of the Palmetto Associates Conservative Trust. In 2009, Kimbrell received the E. A. McDowell Award for SC Public Policy Leadership.
