Jeff
Kerker - Board of Directors Member
A native and current resident of
Atlanta, Georgia, Jeff Kerker started his real
estate career in 1985 when he joined Lincoln Property
Company, a national commercial development firm,
where he specialized in the marketing and leasing
of commercial properties.
In 1988 Mr. Kerker joined The Shopping
Center Group, a full service real estate brokerage
firm in Atlanta. As a principle of the company,
he has seen the company expand to 16 offices throughout
the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states. The Shopping
Center Group leases more than 30 million square
feet of retail space, exclusively represents more
than 230 national, regional or local retailers
and manages more than six million square feet
of retail space. Additionally, The Shopping Center
Group has provided development consulting services
for more than seven million square feet of development
projects and sold more than $300 million of investment
property retail space.
In 1991, Mr. Kerker formed Southeastern
Asset Management Group, which specializes in the
ownership/management, acquisition and development
of upscale, non-grocery anchored retail centers.
Through various ownership entities, he presently
owns and manages 24 retail centers located primarily
in metro Atlanta.
Mr. Kerker received his B.A.
in economics from University of Georgia. He has
served on the board of directors of United Agricorp,
an agri-biotech firm and Pipeline Communications
Inc., a software provider. Over the last 20 years
he has been actively involved in the community
serving on various boards. |
