Joseph H. Breedon, Jr. - Chief Financial Officer

Joe Breedon, Chief Financial Officer of One Georgia Bank, has been in the banking industry for 22 years with SunTrust Banks, Inc. He has a unique blend of experience encompassing large institutional roles at the holding company as well as financial leadership at SunTrust Bank, Miami.

Breedon began his career as a bank auditor with Ernst & Young in Miami after graduating magna cum laude from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. Breedon is an active certified public accountant.

Breedon started his career at SunTrust as Controller of SunTrust Bank, Miami in 1986, progressing to Chief Financial Officer of that bank. In 2000, Breedon was recruited by the Parent Company to move to Atlanta and start up a Strategic Sourcing Group within Procurement, eventually becoming the Director of Corporate Procurement. From 2005 to 2007 Breedon served as Director of Operational Risk Management.

Breedon believes in giving back to the community and has served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Miami Habitat for Humanity.
