The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation is an agency of the United
States Government. This agency provides insurance to depositors who
have deposits in banks that are members of the FDIC. One Georgia Bank
is a member of the FDIC. Each depositor is insured up to $250,000.

Since the establishment of
the FDIC in the 1930’s, not one bank customer has lost one penny
of any desposit insured by FDIC insurance.

One Georgia Bank is participating in
the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program,
through December 31, 2010, all non-interest-bearing transaction
accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the
account.
Coverage under the Transaction Account
Guarantee Program in is addition to, and separate from, the coverage
available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
